Dan Storm Portfolio
My design theory is simple: clarity, lack of clutter, crispness.
Recent Work
Antioch Adoptions
Antioch Adoptions has recently received this year's "Angels in Adoption" Congressional award. Antioch is not an adoption agency, but rather a ministry that provides no-fee adoptions, servicing the state of Washington. Their non-profit model is re-defining the way traditional adoptions occur.
D. Anthony Storm's Commentary on Kierkegaard
This site has been around since 1996, but has been updated recently. It is probably the most comprehensive and ambitious website on the father of existentialism. Because there are many pages, I have used jQuery to facilitate an easy drill-drown approach through the top link on the nav. The main Commentary page also uses jQuery so that you can views abstracts of works before going to particular commentary pages. Because there is much to research there is also a style sheet switcher for readers who prefer high contrast pages.
Kenosis Radio
A site for a radio show that's a bit unusual. I gave it a little of a 60's look to reinforce it uniqueness and serendipity. I use a bit of CSS3 on the broadcasts page and homepage, creating alternating zebra tables.
Cliff Erickson Music
A transactional site where you can hear mp3 samples and purchase CDs using Amazon's SimplePay method. Cliff Erickson is a fusion bassist, composer, and vocalist who has released two albums. This site was launched to promote his most recent release.
A to Z Stone
This is a portfolio site for a master stonemason's work. I used the Mootools JavaScript library for slide shows and navigation.
