- Created table-less XHTML with advanced CSS toward greater accessibility, better SEO optimization creating HTML mocks for multiple sites including Sears of Canada, Benefit Cosmetics, MotherCare, Lacoste, and an internal Java Alternative Website project

- Conversion and re-design of "Online Customer Experience" site from JHTML to JSP
- Numerous smaller projects and sustainment pushes including added functionality to store bank account and credit/debit account information, as well as managed multiple payment accounts
- Made entire consumer "buy-flow" function on a kiosk for in-store purchasing of phones and plans

Independent projects include:
- WebwareCorp: Built front-end for content management system for Novartis, a European pharmaceutical company. Rebuilt search pages for Dupont chemical company
- AccessJustice: Designed and hand-coded the entire front-end of an 80 page JSP web application to be used by the San Joaquin County Superior Court to manage cases, create and update warrants and exhibits, track accounting and fines, etc. Also coded front-end for JSP web application for Shawnee County, Kansas Warrant Management System. Built auxiliary site AccessGov
- Avalon Art Studios, a source for custom tile, ceramic furnishings, and commissioned artwork. Ported over site and re-designed as Avalon Art Studios
- CMPublish: Built web-based content management system for Clickability using the XHTML 1.0 coding standard and VTL
- Kenosis: Designed and built a brochure site for a faith-based organization
- A Commentary on Kierkegaard: This is a large humanities site. All content and coding are mine
September 2001 to January 2002 - The Sharper Image - San Francisco, CA - Ecommerce Developer
- Re-coded new home page, header, footer, navigation components, and product information page
- Cleaned up code on dozens of pages throughout the site
- Drafted a coding standards document, including directory structure, best practices, and unit testing requirements for the company
- Coded DHTML functionality
- Edited Flash files
- Converted inline and embedded CSS into a new master CSS file
July 1999 to December 2000 - Scient Corporation - San Francisco, CA - Lead Front-end Technology Engineer
- Was the only leader level front-end technology architect at Scient's (then main) San Francisco office
- Developed several documents for the company including:
- A CSS coding standards document
- A DHTML coding standards document
- A CSS tutorial
- Did recruitment at Scient, interviewing and evaluating potential employees for the company
- Led the front-end effort on three large-scale web application projects, each of which was for a six month term: BenefitPoint, Sageo, Wells Fargo.
April 1998 to June 1999 - Sun Microsystems - Menlo Park, CA - Website Developer and Maintainer
- Was the lead front-end developer and maintainer for Sun's Reseller site, which was a 6.6Gb site
- Was instrumental in converting site to a new look and feel
- Built master Style Sheet. All work was performed in the Solaris operating environment (UNIX), and all HTML was coded in a text editor
- Created and maintained many internal sites
- Occasionally consulted for the Sun Team that works on Sun's public site, helping them convert to CSS formatting
- Assisted in the production and proofing of an online and CD-based Reseller tool
- Designed and created the content for the "SunReseller Style Guide and Kit" for Sun contributors
- Authored a Style Sheets tutorial for this kit
